As a Local Friend, you have the unique opportunity to welcome international students into your life without the commitment of them living with you. Instead, you provide them with a supportive and nurturing environment during their time in Tuscaloosa through shared meals, experiences, and traditions. What can I do with my International Friend?
As a Local Friend, the possibilities for spending time with your international friend are endless! You could start by exploring Tuscaloosa's charming downtown area, grabbing a coffee or a bite to eat at one of the local eateries, or taking a stroll along the scenic Riverwalk.
For a fun outing, consider attending a University of Alabama sporting event together or even one of your own children's or grandchildren's sporting events. Back at home, you can bond over a homemade meal, introduce them to your favorite family hobbies, or host a lively game night filled with board games and laughter.
